This study is staged in a courtroom setting. Jesus is on trial. He is accused of blasphemy because He said He was the Son of God, even God. John, the author of the gospel, is the defense attorney. The accusers of Jesus are the prosecution. The themes throughout the Gospel of John are seen here as witnesses. John brings these witnesses before the court to disclaim the blasphemy charge, proving instead that He indeed is the Son of God. All people of all time, race, and gender are both the Judge and Jury in this case. Still, the greater irony is....

As Believers in Jesus most of us have lived our lives standing in the world, occasionally reaching over into the realm of the Kingdom of God to extract something from God in the hope of making our lives better.
The call of the Holy Spirit today is for us to step over into that circle of all that pertains to the Kingdom of God and begin to live our lives OUT from WITHIN it.
Once inside that circle of all that pertains to the Kingdom of God, we will find ourselves going from the in part to the fulness going from faith to faith, glory to glory unto the end of the age.
Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He (Jesus) shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2.
